Adopt-a-Road volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 22 at 9:00 a.m. to clean up the 2.5 miles of Long Lake Road from Middlebelt to Telegraph. This is a great service project for families, and teens can earn service hours. Meet in the west parking lot at 9:00 a.m.
CROP Hunger Walk
Gather your friends and neighbors and sign up for the CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, September 23. The walk begins at 2:00 p.m. at First Methodist Church in Birmingham.
Register to Walk/Donate
Volunteer for a Kirk team on October 1, 2 or 6; full or half day shifts are available. The 2018 focus is Durfee Innovation Society neighborhood. Volunteers will help plant trees, build gardens, install little free libraries, designate safe routes to school with artwork, upgrade parks, install bus shelters, and add neighborhood signage. Life Remodeled provides all of the necessary tools, and lunch.
