Adult Lenten Series • Journey to the Cross: Jesus' Final Days • March 5 – April 5
Holy Week is a phrase that sits at the very center of our faith. Join us for a special five-week series with sessions on Sunday mornings (10:15 a.m.) and Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m.), led by special guest speakers, scholars and pastors.
The series will also feature the book Jesus, the Final Days: What Really Happened by Craig Evans and N.T. Wright, two theologians who present the case for the historical accuracy of our Gospel accounts, citing dozens of scholarly secular researchers and archaeologists, as well as their own scholarly dive into the Gospel accounts.

Singles, couples—everyone is welcome! No experience needed. The fee of $35 per person includes three ballroom dance lessons:

Pewabic Pottery Tour for Kirk Women • Saturday, March 18 • 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Kirk Women of all ages are encouraged to join us at Pewabic Pottery, a National Historic Landmark located in Detroit’s Jefferson Corridor. Since 1903, artisans have handcrafted ceramic art beginning with raw, earthen materials and a clay mixer dating to the early 1900s. The process is timeless, and every handcrafted object continues to enrich Detroit Heritage.Women will enjoy a docent-led tour that will take them through Pewabic’s history and go behind the scenes in the fabrication space and education studio. Each participant will be encouraged to explore their creativity and personalize a clay tile. An optional lunch at Sinbad’s will follow for those interested. Carpooling is an option.
