Caring Ministers are volunteers that share God's love by offering friendly visits and taking communion and flowers to our elderly homebound members. They also provide the opportunity for these members to listen to Kirk services using portable CD players. For more information, please contact Julie Walker at (248) 973-8001 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
This group of volunteers meets weekly to pray for those in need and/or for those who have made specific prayer requests (chronic illnesses, family issues, emotional concerns, hospitalizations, births, deaths). The Kirk staff maintains a list of individuals in need of our prayers. Meetings are held every Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room in the Kirk house. All Kirk members are invited to attend and join the Prayer Cordon in this important ministry. For more information, please contact Julie Walker at (248) 973-8001 or email@example.com.
Stephen Ministers are members of our congregation who have received caregiver training to minister to people experiencing a crisis, facing a challenge, or simply going through a tough time. They are available after services to offer brief prayer and possibly scripture to those members and friends who would like additional support. You may contact Nancy Lau at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate a caring relationship with a Stephen Minister.
