We envision a world where every heart experiences God's transforming love.
We envision a world...Relational MissionOurs is a church that hopes to look beyond ourselves and out into the world. Our commitment to mission is a sign of how we seek God in our neighborhood and world. Our seeking is year-round, but we have a concerted, church-wide challenge every November. Last November, we led over 6,000 hours of local mission! Notably, we are seeking God through our Accent Pontiac music program and Kirk Tutors initiative—both planted in elementary schools in Pontiac.

...where every heart experiences...Christ-Centered WorshipJesus reminds us in his birth, his ministry, and in his promise of the Holy Spirit, that God is near! We hope to be a church that follows Jesus in this ministry. For us, this starts in worship. We have four primary Sunday services. At 8:00 a.m. we have an intimate communion service in Cedarholm Chapel. At 9:15 and 11:00 a.m. we have cathedral services with full procession and choir, and Dinner Church is at 5:30 p.m. in our Refectory. The Dinner Church service will occur twice a month beginning in the fall. During the summer months, our 9:15 a.m. service is held in the columbarium garden. Finally, we have a satellite worship center at Fox Run Retirement Community and an affiliate church relationship with First Presbyterian in Troy.

...God's transforming love.Inter-generational FormationSomeone once said, “God will meet you where you are, but he won’t leave you there!” We believe that the love of God is always at work in us and we hope to come alongside God’s work with our formation ministries. We hope to be a community that encourages prayerful petitions to God, welcomes inquiry-based Bible study, offers dynamic Sunday School classes, youth groups, mission trips, and choirs, and creates robust small groups that make room for relationships that help us to grow in faith. We hope that everyone will join a small group.
