This Sunday, September 5, is the final Summer Garden Service of the season. Don't miss this opportunity to worship outdoors before we kick off our fall season! 

Kirk offices will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will resume on Tuesday, September 7.

A special expanded edition of the September Kirk News will be mailed to members and includes information about new service times and expanded Sunday School options, all beginning on Sunday, September 12!

Our Summer Carillon Series concludes this Sunday, September 5 with recitals at 10:00 a.m. and noon by Kirk Carillonneur, Dennis Curry.

Ministry with Pontiac

Ministry with Pontiac is an Outreach and Mission ministry of the Kirk. Recognizing that God is and always has been very present and active in the life of the city and its people, Ministry with Pontiac seeks to join in that work, listening, learning, serving and partnering with Pontiac community leaders, organizations, schools and churches to build long-term friendships and address long standing challenges.

Three-week summer camp, designed to teach and increase reading and writing skills, offering an engaging introduction to Jesus to 60 selected children from Pontiac. Over eighty volunteers from the Kirk and its partners, New Bethel Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Birmingham, experienced in full the rewarding fellowship of Christian service for God's Children.
