Prayer Cordon / Prayer Requests

Prayer CordonThe Kirk Prayer Cordon is a group of Kirk members who meet every Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. in the Fireside Room to pray for Kirk members and friends who have requested prayer. The Kirk staff maintains a list of indivi-duals in need of our prayers. We pray for each person on
the list during our Tuesday morning meeting, and through-
out the rest of the week. All Kirk members are invited to
join this important ministry! For more information about
the Prayer Cordon, please contact Tremetre Young at tremetre1@aol.com.

The Prayer Cordon believes that God has given us the gift of prayer so that, as Christians, we can communicate with Him, both in listening to ascertain His will for our lives, and to share our needs and concerns with Him. To read a weekly message from the prayer cordon, click here.

"The less I pray, the harder it gets; the more I pray, the better it goes."  Martin Luther

"When God intends to bless His people, the first thing He does is set them a-praying.Matthew Henry

"A church without an intelligent, well-organized, and systematic prayer program is simply operating a religious treadmill."  Paul Billheimer
