Planning Your First Visit

Kirk in the Hills, Bloomfield Hills, MIWelcome to Kirk in the Hills! Also known as “The Kirk,” we are a Christ-centered community of faith located in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. As a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we welcome you to visit us and consider making the Kirk your church home. Set in a picturesque location with beautiful views of Island Lake, the Kirk enjoys a rich history, yet is welcoming to all newcomers, young and old alike. Although our campus may appear large from the street, the feeling inside is warm and inviting, with plenty of friendly faces to answer your questions. We also have ushers serving as parking attendants before each service to help guide you as you first enter our campus.

Dr. Provost, Dr. Pritchard and UshersOur greeters are waiting to welcome you at each of our services, where you will be offered a bulletin which contains the Order of Worship, in addition to upcoming calendar and event information. In our Sanctuary service, an usher will escort you to the seat of your choice. Once seated, we encourage you to relax, take time for quiet prayer and enjoy the music while the visitor’s register is passed to you – feel free to indicate if you would like to receive any specific information about the Kirk. We’re here to help answer any questions you may have!
