This Sunday, September 5, is the final Summer Garden Service of the season. Don't miss this opportunity to worship outdoors before we kick off our fall season!
Kirk offices will be closed on Monday, September 6 in observance of the Labor Day Holiday. Regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will resume on Tuesday, September 7.
A special expanded edition of the September Kirk News will be mailed to members and includes information about new service times and expanded Sunday School options, all beginning on Sunday, September 12!
Our Summer Carillon Series concludes this Sunday, September 5 with recitals at 10:00 a.m. and noon by Kirk Carillonneur, Dennis Curry.
Women of the Kirk
Women of the Kirk (made up of all women who are members of the Kirk) enjoy opportunities for fellowship, provide service to those in need in our community, and learn about and embrace Christ's love. Activities include:
* Bible studies (fall and winter series)
* Book studies (fall and winter series)
* "Done in a Day" (outreach project)
* Fall and Winter Gatherings
* Blanket Fund (ongoing, with campaign during February-May)
* Fellowship Luncheon (homebound members, annually in the spring)
* Summer Fellowship Event
* Women's Retreat (annually in the spring)

Better Together!
The theme for the 2009-2010 activites for the Women of the Kirk is "Better Together."
This theme was unveiled at the Women's Fall Gathering on October 1, 2009 where
over 100 Kirk women and friends gathered to learn more about the Women of the Kirk
events and activities for the year.
Plans are underway for the 2011 Women's Retreat!
This year's annual women's retreat was held
April 23-25, 2010 at Columbiere Retreat Center
in Clarkston, Michigan. Plan to join us for our
next Women's Retreat in the spring of 2011 for fun, fellowship and worship, because we are all "Better Together!"
